Circular Polarized Helical Antennas
 Our
part number GDH1723 is constructed on a filament wound epoxy cylinder
incorporating the matching section within the base. A right hand helix
transmits & receives right hand circular polarization. This type
antenna can readily be scaled to other frequencies with left -hand or right-hand
polarization.

Our models ADC5459
and ADC8895 are small helical antennas which
are constructed of quartz and
stainless steel materials. These materials allow the antenna to operate in a 1000ºF
environment for up to five minutes, with short heat pulses for up to
3000ºF. The helix design achieves better than a 2.0 voltage axial ratio
with a right hand circular polarization. Left hand polarization and other
frequencies are available.
Flange part number FLNG9227 is sold separately. The flange
allows the antenna to mount flush and to accommodate a skin thickness of up to
1/2 inch.
