- Biconical Antennas:

transponders; available in frequencies from 100 MHz to 18.0 GHz.

type of antenna is used in situations where a low angle of elevation
is required. No ground plane is required.
Flush Mount Antennas: These
type of Antennas are ideal for airborne applications where mounting
space is limited or protrusions from blades can not be tolerated.
Low Profile Blade Antennas:
Ideal
for flight termination systems; available in frequencies from
100 MHz to 1.5 GHz.
- Monopole Antennas: The
most economical antenna for omnidirectional applications. Simple
to install. Must have a conductive ground plane.
- Wrap Around Antennas:
Micropatch and stripline antennas are available as small as
2.5" diameter in single frequencies from 215 MHz to 12.5
GHz. Wrap Around Arrays are available as single or multi-frequency, linear or circular polarized.
