The quartz and stainless steel construction of this small helix antenna allows it to operate in a 1000°F environment for up to five minutes, with short heat pulses for up to 3000°F. The helix design achieves better than a 2.0 voltage axial ratio with a right hand circular polarization. Left hand polarization is also available. The antenna mount allows flush mounting and accommodates skin thicknesses of up to 1/2 inch. Power dividers are available to array two, three or more antennas together. Other frequency bands are available.
