Low Profile Antenna - AO556-915
Frequency: 915 ± 10 MHz
Applications
- Transponder
- Telephony
- Data Link Sub System (DLS)
- Drone Flight Control Systems
- GRDCUS
The slotted blade or "bent stub" antenna provides both vertically and horizontally polarized components of radiated energy. This feature fills in the antenna pattern hole typically exhibited by the 1/4 wave stub antenna. The "bent stub" also provides a vertically polarized component when the aircraft is in a steep bank attitude.
